Overview
This course is for all staff who are required to make presentations to large audiences or small groups. It is designed for first time presenters or more experienced presenters who wish to perfect their skills. The course runs for one day and you will be required to prepare a short presentation.
Course aims
The programme aims to provide a highly supportive learning experience for what may feel a potentially daunting experience. Delegates will try out new skills in a positive environment which focuses on building peoples natural strengths and delegates are encouraged to manage their own feedback. This enables delegates to increase their confidence and practical skills.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is required to speak in front of others and wish to develop the confidence and skills to become professional presenters. Suitable for all levels / grades.
What you will gain
Learn how to speak more confidently in groups, and control nerves and the effects of nerves. Prepare materials and equipment in a structured manner. Learn how to maintain audience interest, and seek evaluation and tips for improvement after the event.
