Overview
PRINCE2 is a powerful project method. It includes very basic information on a few techniques and illustrates a few more, but otherwise it expects you to go out and find suitable project techniques elsewhere together with instruction on how to use them. Inspirandum gives you that ‘elsewhere’ with a powerful package of techniques that work particularly well in a PRINCE based project.
This fast paced, fun and highly practical 3 day course includes product planning which is incorporated into the method but which is often poorly taught on PRINCE practitioner courses (not Inspirandum’s!) resulting in practitioners just not seeing how to get the power out of this approach. Added to that are a range of proven techniques for activity planning, the business case, risk analysis progress control and version control. A lot of time is given over to ‘hands on’ practical work to develop the skills you need to use the techniques, and use them with confidence.
PRINCE2 gives you the structure. This course fleshes it out with powerful, proven project techniques to help get the job done. The extensive practical work means that you leave with the confidence that you can go back to a project and use them well.
Who should attend this course?
The course is for Project Managers, Team Managers and Project Support staff involved with the ‘nuts and bolts’ of project planning and control. It is anticipated, but not necessary, that those attending will be familiar with the PRINCE2 method.
Inspirandum’s clear delivery style makes this event effective where those attending have English as a second language. We work worldwide with English speaking audiences or with translation.
