It is easy to lose time on projects and most people are familiar with the scenario that something that should have taken just a few days has turned out to be several days longer, or even weeks longer, than anticipated. It is important to move fast on projects. Any delay not only drives up the cost of the project which can be expensive, but also knocks on to the completion date of the project thereby delaying getting the business benefits on stream, which can be extremely expensive.

Inspirandum workshops are there to help you work quickly, get the job done and move on. It is like having an experienced colleague working alongside you. We typically work in the areas of project start up to help produce a Project Brief, in planning to help with the Product Planning especially where we have long experience and particular expertise, and with risk analysis to help work through project risks and think through suitable countermeasures. But if you have other needs, please do talk to us as we may be able to help.

A workshop to deal with a live project can be combined with training if you wish. This way we can use your project as a way of passing on skills that will help in the future as well as driving that particular project forward.

Who should attend these workshops?

The workshops are for any staff involved with that part of the work of the project. They tend to work best with up to about 12 people, but we are also experienced in running very much larger ones where there is a need to have a wider range of people involved.

Inspirandum works worldwide with English speaking audiences or with translation.

Delivery

The workshops are run ‘in company’ to focus on a particular project or set of projects. An event is normally between 1 and 3 days depending on the exact needs that you have. We will talk through your needs and the timing of the workshop to make sure it meets your requirements. We can be very flexible and are used to working with small groups of just 3 or 4 up to much larger events with 40 or 50 people. Normally smaller groups are better in terms of interaction as some people don’t join in so well in larger ones, but we have conducted very successful larger workshops, sometimes by breaking them into smaller groups for part of the time.

The event can be run in your own conference or training facility or at a commercial conference venue. Unless you can be sure of an uninterrupted environment, this event will almost certainly be more effective run somewhere outside the company’s own premises so that those attending can focus and make the very best use of time.

Where the workshop covers training as well as hands-on project work, we will provide a copy of that training material for each person attending. The costs of this will be explained when we talk through the requirements for the event.

Content of Workshops

The workshops will be delivered to meet your exact needs, and this will be discussed beforehand. But the information below is a guide to the subject areas that can be included.
