English, Maths & Science GCSE examinations have never been as important. From grades counts for the academic year; we know that many students will be sitting their exams earlier than they had intended and they may need the extra support we can provide.
We can offer a wide range of tuition programmes – however we recognise that English, Maths & Science GCSE is a current priority. We are offering small group sessions to prepare specifically for these exams.
Summary of GCSE English
Demonstrate skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing necessary to communicate with others confidently, effectively, precisely and appropriately

Summary of GCSE Science
The GCSE science syllabus covers a wide range of topics in biology, chemistry, and physics. The syllabus is designed to help students develop a strong foundation in scientific concepts and principles, as well as practical skills such as data analysis and experimental design.
The syllabus is divided into several sections, each of which covers a different aspect of science. For example, the AQA GCSE Science syllabus includes sections on cell biology, atomic structure, energy, and forces.
The syllabus is designed to be challenging, but also engaging and rewarding. Students who complete the GCSE science syllabus will have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of science, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to pursue further study in the field.
Grading System (9-1):
Introduces a numerical scale from 9 to 1, with 9 being the highest and 1 the lowest grade.
Grade 9 represents a higher level of achievement than the previous A* grade, while grade 1 corresponds to the former G grade.
Grades 9 to 4 are equivalent to the previous A* to C grades, considered "standard" passes.
Grades 7, 8, and 9 are considered equivalent to the previous A and A* grades, indicating exceptional performance.
Grade 5 is considered a "strong" pass, demonstrating a good level of attainment.
Grade 4 is the standard pass grade, often referred to as a "C equivalent"
Focus on Exam Success
Fundamental topics to have better attainment in school and build necessary skills for GCSE level exam preparation, mock exams, SATs and 11+ entrance exams
Focus on the relevant exam boards with specific emphasis on strategies and exam style questions to boost confidence and exam success.
